Gt Legends Mod For Gtr Evolution
GT Legends is old school cars. GTR & GTR2 is based on FIA GT. Just get GTR2 because it contains all cars & tracks from GTR1 as well. Power & Glory is a non-official mod of GTR2's engine, in the style of GT Legends. Mojo66 has released a new version of his GTL Mod for GTR Evolution that brings all the cars of Simbin's GT Legends simulation to their newer product.

Today i will write down a simple and easy way to convert GTR2 cars to GTL first of all. What do you need? - Geditor DOWNLOAD - GTL - a GTR2 MOD - NOTEPAD - not needed but recommended a TRACE (how to create a trace file) so now we can start!
Download the GEditor 2. Download a GTR2 Mod which you plan to convert.
For example we use in this Tutorial the 'Lamborghini Murcielago LP-670-4 SV' (DOWNLOAD) 3. Open the Archive and extract the content to a folder (for example 'NEW GTL ADDON CAR') 4. Now go in the directory 'NEW GTL ADDON CAR' and you cann see a folder with the name 'MURCIELAGO SV670-4' than. SOUNDS/TEAMS' 5. Copy the 'SOUND' folder to your GTL/GameData directory. Open the folder 'TEAMS' in your 'NEW GTL ADDON CAR/MURCIELAGO SV670-4/GAMEDATA' you can see the folder 'Lamborghini_Murcielago_SV670' copy this to GTL/GAMEDATA/TEAMS/ADDONS' (create this ADDON folder in your directory!) 7.
Now open the 'Lamborghini_Murcielago_Cpit.gtr' with GEDITOR and than save this file with the name 'Lamborghini_Murcielago_Cpit.GTL' the extension GTL is important! 7.1 do this with all.GTR files.for example: - Lamborghini_MURCIELAGO_OBJ.GTR - LAMBORGHINI_MURCIELAGO_STYLE1_CPIT.gtr - Lamborghini_Murcielago_Tex.gtr - Lamborghini_Murcielago_Wheels.gtr if you have done this you can delete the old.GTR files 8.
Open the 'LAMBORGHINI_MURCIELAGO_STYLE1.cas' with notepad now you cann see the lines Code. Number=09095 Team='BLACK' PitGroup=' Driver='Azrim' Driver1='Azrim' Description='Lamborghini MURCIELAGO SV670-4' Engine='Lamborghini V12' Manufacturer='LAMBORGHINI_MURCIELAGO' classes='SIM_FULL, SIM_GTC, SIM_GTC76' now the car drive in the FIA GTC-TC 76 (if you want other Classes see the tutorial How to create. NEW CLASSES IN GTL [TUTORIAL]) and save the.CAR file 10. Last one you need the TALENT.GTR and STEX.GTR file from GTR2 this both files comes to 'GTL/GAMEDATA/TEAMS' without these files the car doesn´t work! You can find the files in the GTR2 installation or in some ADDON DOWNLOADS 11.
Now the car is workin in GTL! Its only the simple and easy way. Some cars doesn´t work with this way!

Should be the tex and ultra_tex single gmt's? SOLVED EDIT: the skins should be placed at the main TEX.GMT in order to work If you can find a way to allow loose skins, the community will be able to add more in. Basic error, i didnt convert the tex and ultra_tex from GTR to GTL, just changed the extension and it worked fine as standalones, without needing to put the skins inside the gmt's.

Exemple: the ford GT40 MK2 of power and glory, she works great into the showrrom but it crash when the track is loading. I have the same problem with the Marcos LM600, tried to convert it just for fun (and actually wanted to ask for permission if it works), I can see the car in the showroom, buy it etc. But after a track loaded, I get a CTD. Renamed all GTR files to GTL (except for the STEX and TALENT like in the example above) and changed the entries in the CAS files.
